Opportunity for Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Points for In-Person Attendees: PLEASE READ

The ECC Conference is an opportunity for CPD. CPD is an integral component in the continuing provision of safe and effective services for the benefit of people who use our services. Attendees (in-person and online) can claim CPD points from the relevant regulatory bodies listed below. 

Following the conference, you will be supplied with email confirmation of your attendance, which will be required for your application. Please follow the standard process of claiming CPD points with your regulatory body. 

  • Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI): The NMBI has granted 6 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Only registered nurses and registered midwives shall receive CEUs.   • CORU: You can record CPD credits in your CORU CPD record.. For further information, please see the CORU webpage https://www.coru.ie.
  • Royal College of Physicians of Ireland (RCPI): RCPI has granted 5 CPD credits for full day attendance at the ECC Conference 2023. Important CPD Information for Online Attendees: PLEASE READ

Online attendees must complete the steps shown during the ECC Conference in order to receive their proof of attendance. 

During the conference live stream, the audience interaction platform, Slido will sit underneath the live stream and you will be required to provide your name and email address. You must log into this platform to prove your attendance.

It is very important that you complete this during the livestream to prove your attendance. Those who register after the conference finishes will not receive confirmation
